"CSI: Miami" star Eddie Cibrian is talking to "Extra" about being under the microscope of fame.

Cibrian tells "Extra" he loves to act, but he's not in "the game" for fame. "I love what I do," he says, adding, "I don't enjoy the other part of the fame that comes along with that." The 36-year-old heartthrob has been under fire for leaving his wife and family for singer/actress LeAnn Rimes. Eddie and LeAnn got close after filming the Lifetime movie "Northern Lights."

Cibrian filed for divorce from wife Brandi Glanville in August -- they have two sons.

The handsome actor says he enjoys working on "CSI: Miami" because it films in Southern California and he can stay close to his family.

Earlier this week, actor Eddie Cibrian filed for divorce from wife and model Brandi Glanville. The divorce papers stated Cibrian was asking for spousal support, but Eddie has taken it back!

Cibrian's publicist says there was a clerical error and the "Third Watch" star is not asking for spousal support. Oops!

On Thursday, Eddie released a statement about the divorce, saying, "I will continue to be respectful and sensitive to this issue by not doing interviews about this ongoing private matter. I wish everyone would do the same."

It's official -- "CSI: Miami" star Eddie Cibrian has filed for divorce from wife Brandi Glanville.

In the court papers, the couple lists their date of separation as March 15, and the reason for the split as "irreconcilable" differences. Despite allegations that Eddie cheated, the actor is requesting that Brandi pay him spousal support! View the divorce papers here.

Cibrian released the following statement: "While my wife and I are dissolving our marriage, we will work together to parent our two children. I love my boys very much. The estranged couple announced they were separating in July, nearly four months after rumors surfaced that Eddie was having an affair with his "Northern Lights" co-star LeAnn Rimes.

LeAnn and Eddie went public with their relationship last week, hitting the green for a game of golf and attending a Kings of Leon concert together.

Since then, Brandi has slammed her ex and his new gal pal for ruining their marriage, telling LeAnn, "He's all yours."

Country singer LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian haven't been hiding their relationship -- and while Eddie's ex blasts him to the press, Rimes' estranged husband has gotten far away from the drama.

According to Fox News, LeAnn's estranged husband Dean Sheremet has packed up and moved out of the couple's Nashville mansion and to New York City. "Dean is moving on, looking for work and creating a fresh start in New York City," an insider dished to the network. "He's excited to be in New York and plans to take advantage of his connections over the years to focus on his career."

The source added, "LeAnn has clearly moved on with Eddie in California and it was time for Dean to make a major change of his own."

Dean and LeAnn tied the knot in 2002. The couple announced their separation in July.

Glanville told the magazine her reaction to Eddie's recent behavior has been disbelief. "I'm just like, 'You know what? You're not the man I married.'"

Brandi also confirms that she has spoken with LeAnn recently, and told her, "He's all yours."

Glanville confirms that she hopes to file divorce papers shortly, ending her eight-year marriage to the "CSI: Miami" star.

Four months ago, LeAnn Rimes was accused of having an affair with co-star Eddie Cibrian, but sources tell People magazine that isn't the only reason her marriage to Dean Sheremet fell apart.

The couple tied the knot when LeAnn was 19 and Dean was 20. A source tells People their breakup was bound to happen. "I don't think it's unusual considering how young they were, and the business they're in."

Later in their marriage, Rimes branched out from her singing career into acting and spent more in Los Angeles. Sheremet's songwriting endeavors kept him in Nashville. A pal tells People, "Maybe there was less of an effort to meet up in those moments where they typically would have met up."

It's rumored LeAnn has been spending time with the newly-separated Eddie Cibrian. The two were said to be having an affair during the filming of "Northern Lights," a Lifetime TV movie. They denied it. Rimes and Sheremet are separated, but it's unclear when divorce papers will be filled. The pal says, "There's still a lot of love and respect between the two of them. But sometimes love might not be enough."
