Dad Billy Ray Cyrus is speaking out about daughter Miley’s teddy bear twerkfest at the MTV VMAs, while Liam Hemsworth’s new girl Eiza González is keeping her lips sealed about the couple’s hookup.
While visiting “Piers Morgan Tonight,” Billy Ray explained, “Miley harnessed something very special… I think what's been happening over the years, Miley has been reinventing her sound, she's evolved as an artist herself. I think that all of what everyone is calling controversy now, that's still my Miley."

Billy told “Extra’s” Alecia Davis, “We love Liam, so he’s got our blessings, as long as they’re happy, that’s all that matters.”He continued, “I think Liam’s got a good heart, he’s a smart young man, extremely talented, most importantly, he’s a good person,” Billy Ray gushed.

The father of six talked about his children, saying, "My kids all have a good head on their shoulders, good hearts. They don't need much advice from me." He joked, "I always say, 'Watch what I do, and don't do that.'"
Singer/actor Billy Ray Cyrus is mending his family relationships and has stopped the divorce proceedings with wife, Tish.
"I've dropped the divorce," Cyrus, 49, said during an interview on "The View" scheduled to air on Friday. "I want to put my family back together ... Things are the best they've ever been." He added, "I feel like I got my Miley back. I feel like we're the daddy and daughter we were before 'Hannah Montana.'"
In October, he and Tish issued a joint statement announcing plans to end their 17-year marriage, and in an interview with GQ magazine, Billy Ray said he thought the Disney Channel show ruined his family.
