The “Demand a Plan” grassroots campaign began in July after James Holmes’ shooting rampage in an Aurora, Colo. movie theater. The tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday has again put the spotlight on guns. This piece came together organically in a matter of days and the production had the help of directors Jay Roach and Jesse Peretz.
