In the comedy, Streisand plays an overprotective mom who drives cross-country with her son (Seth Rogen). The actress’ real life son, Jason, read the script and talked her into taking the role. Barbra explained, “He said, ‘Ma, I think you should do it.’”

Streisand talks about the upcoming duets album she’s working on with “Babyface” Edmonds that feature her first duet with her son, Jason Gould.
According to Streisand, “When I heard the things he’s recorded, the musicianship, the sound of his voice, it’s like he has a little chamber music orchestra right in his vocal chords.”

From Barbra Streisand to Jen Aniston, Hollywood's most glamorous ladies attended ELLE magazine's 18th Annual Women of Hollywood Tribute, honoring Michelle Pfeiffer in Beverly Hills on Monday evening.
Pfeiffer, still happily married to writer David E. Kelly after 17 years, said, "I picked well. I think most people don't pick well."
Arriving solo to the red carpet, Jen Aniston ditched her usual LBD for a playful, gold low-cut Kaufmanfranco number and chatted it up with pal Reese Witherspoon and boyfriend Justin Theroux inside the event.
