Sometimes it’s nice to have friends in high places. When Ukrainian TV journalist Vitalii Sediuk managed to infiltrate the Staples Center on Sunday night and nearly accept an award on Adele's behalf, presenter Jennifer Lopez stopped him in his tracks.
Just as he reached the stage, Lopez, who was presenting Adele with the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Set Fire to the Rain (Live),” pulled Sediuk away from the microphone and gestured him offstage with a thumb. Watch!
Lopez’s rep told “Extra” on Tuesday about the incident, "Like Adele said, she's her 'good luck charm.'"
Adele said in her speech that J.Lo was her “good luck charm” because the “On the Floor” singer seems to always present Adele with her awards.
Meanwhile, Sediuk ended up spending a night in jail for his stunt, and explained to the Hollywood Reporter, "I’m not a crazy guy. I just think differently." Here’s his account:

UPDATE: It's official! Adele's family has confirmed the news to People. “We are all over the moon,” the insider said.
Adele is the proud new mom of a baby boy, according to reports. If the rumors are true, the “Skyfall” singer and boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed the little guy last week.
A source told The Sunday People, “Adele and Simon are ecstatic at their new arrival. She was over the moon that they were expecting their first child together.”

Singer Adele officially released her new James Bond theme song for “Skyfall” on Friday. The soundtrack is already a hit, jumping to number two on the iTunes singles chart.
The haunting lyrics bring some closure to what is likely Daniel Craig’s last Bond movie. “This is the end,” Adele sings. “Hold your breath and count to ten. Feel the earth move and then hear my heart burst again. For this is the end.”
