Awkward! 50 Cent Tries to Kiss Erin Andrews

Rapper 50 Cent didn’t quite get what he wanted when he ran into FOX reporter Erin Andrews at the Daytona 500 NASCAR race on Sunday.

As Andrews made her way to speak with driver Danica Patrick, she unexpectedly spotted 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson.

Jackson made a beeline for her and went straight in for the kiss. Andrews did her best to dodge and he wound up settling for her cheek. As she deflected the smooch, Andrews said, "I've gotta go talk to Danica Patrick."

Hours later, the rapper tweeted: "Hey I wanted to kiss her so I did."

Rapper 50 Cent was involved in a serious car accident Tuesday morning when a Mack truck rear-ended his bullet-proof SUV.

50 Cent -- real name Curtis Jackson -- was hospitalized with injuries.

His rep confirmed to TMZ, "He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."

"Extra's" Adrianna Costa spoke with rapper 50 Cent at the Nightclub & Bar Convention, who opened up about a charitable cause that fights hunger in Africa using an energy boost beverage called Street King. A single bottle, or "shot," is only 2.5 fl. oz., and with each purchase a meal is provided for a hungry child.

50 Cent explained that a trip to Africa opened his eyes to the devastating hunger crisis, and said, "I wanted to try and do something about it. The charity mirrors the Toms shoe model... it's just that people can't eat shoes. I had the opportunity to partner up with the World Food Organization. For every shot sold, a meal is being provided."

Going from 50 Cent to the multi-million dollar man, the rapper is about to become a major film star.

According to Thisis50.com, 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) has signed a $200-million movie deal. Jackson's film production company, Cheetah Vision, has reportedly received funding to produce ten films, with each having a budget of $20 million.
