I somewhat agree with Spike. I saw the movie and didn't see any resemblance of authenticity. It was more comical than historical. The premise about a black freed slave roaming around shooting white folks is just ridiculousness. I accepted the movie for its entertainment value and would suggest to others to refer toa source other than Hollywood for history lessons.
