Snoring Cure

Snoring:
It's loud, it's annoying, and in some cases it's
deadly.
Los Angeles dentist Dr. Rob Veis is the national
authority on sleep apnea. It's a condition that
causes people to stop breathing as many as 300
times a night! It can lead to high blood pressure,
heart attack and worse.

Dr.
Veis says, “Snoring is a sign and symptom of obstructive
sleep apnea. You can die from that… One of two things
happens when you stop breathing. You either wake up or
you die. Its that simple.”
Miss Rice discovered she was snoring while on vacation
with a friend. She says, “Apparently I had been gasping
at night and I would stop breathing.”

The
diagnosis: sleep apnea. She woke up tired with head and
body aches. The traditional treatment, CPAP (continuous
positive air pressure) is a cumbersome, oxygen mask that
she didn't want to wear.
Today's solution is much simpler: the TAP appliance. It’s
a small mouthpiece, worn on the top and bottom of the
teeth. The device pushes the lower jaw slightly forward
so the tongue can't drop back and block the airway.
Besides saving lives, it’s saving marriages. John Christian
could breathe at night but he couldn’t sleep and neither
could his wife. All because of his loud snoring. The TAP
appliance changed all that. John says, “I sleep better.
I feel better.”
And the device is comfortable. People can talk, even drink
water with it on. Miss Rice says, “It allows me to sleep.
It’s saving my life is how I’m looking at it.
Snoring problems? Apnea problems? Both solved! It's the
prescription for sweet dreams!
