Veteran judge Demi Lovato insisted there won’t be any drama between the foursome, saying, “Nobody likes to watch drama unfold on a panel… we’re having fun.”
“Extra’s” Terri Seymour sat down with Simon Cowell at his home, talking about why he is shaking things up this season of “The X Factor,” with returning judge Demi Lovato and new judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio.
Cowell said, “I thought all these shows are beginning to look the same, got two guys right and left, two girls in the middle.”He is looking forward to the seeing what kind of chemistry develops between the three women on the panel. Simon smiled, “Well, I’m quite used to that, putting a load of girls into one situation and seeing how they get on. I like that. I think it’s fun.”

Cowell is gearing up to reinvent the show. “It's got to be more fun. It's has to be a bit more crazy because I like doing shows like that. It was a bit serious last year.”
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt’s next gig might be sitting on a judge’s panel.
A source told UsWeekly.com that “The X Factor” creator Simon Cowell is interested in bringing Hewitt on board as a judge this fall for Season 3.
Us reports country star Reba McEntire and Kelly Rowland, who judged the UK version of “X Factor,” are also in the running.
“Extra’s” Mario Lopez has announced he will be returning as host, while co-host Khloe Kardashian will not.

Demi told Renee she would “love” to return to “X Factor” if her schedule allows. "I'm focusing on my music this year, so it's going to be a lot of touring, a lot of promoting of my album… but I would love to. Obviously, if they asked for me to come back, I'd say yes.”“Extra’s” Mario Lopez caught up with Ne-Yo on the 2013 Grammys red carpet, where the R&B singer dished on possibly joining the next season of the “The X Factor” as a judge.
Ne-Yo said, “I think it would be a great, great thing, I don’t want to talk to much about it, because I don’t want to get in no trouble… conversations have been had, but that’s about it.” He added, “If it happens, I’d be more then willing to do so. I feel like I’ve been around long enough to have some vital information for someone on the way up, definitely.”
