Lots of good news for fans of "The Voice" on Thursday... not only is Cee Lo Green returning to the show, but Usher and Shakira are too!
Entertainment Weekly confirmed the news, explaining that Green and fellow coach Christina Aguilera will come back to the singing competition in the fall, while Shakira and Usher will return in the spring. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are reportedly signing on for both cycles.
Cee Lo chatted with “Extra’s” A.J. Calloway about his return, while praising newcomers Usher and Shakira.
“I'm very confident on my seat on that show," said Green, who is also launching his own TBS reality show called “The Cee Lo Life.” "Much love to Usher and Shakira, they did a great job coming in and being introduced to the format. They did a wonderful job, but the original cast will be back.”
Televangelist Pat Robertson isn’t one to keep his opinions to himself, including his thoughts on marital infidelity.
On Wednesday's episode of his daily television program, "The 700 Club," a female viewer wrote in that she was finding it difficult to forgive her cheating husband.
The 83-year-old told the woman, "Here's the secret: Stop talking the cheating. He cheated on you, well, he's a man… Does he provide a home for you to live in? Does he provide food for you to eat? Does he provide clothes for you to wear? Is he nice to the children... Is he handsome?"
During the “Tonight Show's” recurring "Pumpcast News" segment on Tuesday, “news anchor” Jack Rafferty (Tim Stack) catches Will Sims caught off guard while Will is pumping gas, singing to himself.
Rafferty tells Will he has a good voice and the fellow proceeds to belt out Bon Jovi's "Living' on a Prayer," much to the amusement of his wife Monifa, who is sitting in the car. She, in turn, is encouraged to step out and the couple winds up performing a duet of "Sweet Dream (Are Made of This)" by the Eurythmics.
The Facebook page for Amy’s Baking Company was an ugly mess after owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo were featured on Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares.” Outraged viewers flooded the restaurant’s social media outlets, including Yelp, to call them “horrible,” “rude” and their behavior “criminal.” The twosome appeared to hit back at posters with an all-caps tirade, but they now say a hacker is to blame.
The couple’s behavior on the show was even too much for Ramsay. For the first time, he walked out before renovations. In the episode, which aired May 10, the Scottsdale couple was accused of stealing tips from employees, selling desserts from other restaurants and being extremely rude to customers.
It has been a long seven years since the would-be series finale of “Arrested Development,” and now the wait to find out what's happened is finally over! Netflix will debut the fourth season on May 26. Check out the trailer!
