The 21-year-old has signed on with Gillette to support “Movember,” a global men's health campaign in November, which encourages men to grow the “Mo” -- or moustache -- for 30 days to raise awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer.
On Friday, October 18, the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network is hosting their 9th Annual Respect Awards in Los Angeles to recognize the exceptional efforts of individual and corporate leaders who have made a significant difference to ensure schools are safe for LGBT students and their allies.
"Extra" host Maria Menounos is "going purple" Thursday to take a stand against bullying and help celebrate Spirit Day with the LGBT community.
Spirit Day, sponsored by GLAAD, occurs every year on the third Thursday of October to support the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, and to speak out against bullying that affects many community members.
