On October 13, celebrities, elected leaders and the public will unite to raise funds for HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs at the 29th annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles.

Actress Pamela Anderson announced plans to run the ING New York City Marathon to help out a good cause.
Anderson tweeted on Sunday, "I'm running the New York Marathon this year and raising funds for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization,” which aims to save lives and bring sustainable programs to the Haiti following the earthquake of 2010.
The event celebrated the Season 5 premiere of the hit NBC show, while spotlighting the Five Acres mission to provide training for parents and resources to protect their children.
