The body of a dog was found next to country singer Mindy McCready on the front porch of her Arkansas home, both dead from a gunshot wound.
Cleburne County Sheriff Marty Moss said Monday that it appears McCready killed the dog of her late boyfriend David Wilson, before she turned the gun on herself on Sunday.According to Dr. Drew Pinsky, country star Mindy McCready, who died of an apparent suicide on Sunday, was full of fear after the death of boyfriend David Wilson.
Dr. Drew told "Extra," “She was a lovely, lovely person, I spoke to her about a week and a half ago… and yes, she was absolutely shattered [by David's apparent suicide]. Her greatest fear was that if she should take care of herself -- get treatment, go back into the hospital -- that she would be accused of having killed him or be stigmatized and judged for going to the hospital.”
Real estate mogul Dr. Jerry Buss, longtime owner of the L.A. Lakers, died on Monday. He was 79.
Dr. Buss had been hospitalized in L.A. for the past few months due to an undisclosed intestinal problem, but it has been revealed he was battling cancer.

Country music artist Mindy McCready, 37, was found dead at her home in Herber Springs, Ark, due to apparent suicide.
Stacy McCloud, a reporter at FOX 17 tweeted, “A close family friend of Mindy McCready has informed me that the country singer has committed suicide.”
In December McCready’s boyfriend David Wilson died at 34, with no cause of death or details. Shortly after, McCready’s two children, Zander, 6, and Zayne, 9-months-old, were taken from the singer’s home by authorities.
"Mindy needs to get help and we all care and love her and we want her to get the right help so she can move on. She is in a bad state right now, depressed and unhappy. It is not good," a source told E! News when the children were removed.
In her last interview with NBC's Andrea Canning, the singer spoke about the effect Wilson's death had on her. "I have never gone through anything this painful," she said. "He didn't just touch my heart, he touched my soul. He was my soulmate."
