In an interview with "Extra," Olympic gold medal winner Lindsey Vonn says she wants to be on "Dancing with the Stars."

Vonn is really excited about seeing fellow US Olympian Evan Lysacek compete on the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars." As to putting on her own dancing shoes anytime soon, Vonn says, "I would definitely do "Dancing with the Stars." Unfortunately, right now my schedule is really busy. But I'm hoping next season to work it out."

As one of the heart-rending stories in this year's Winter Olympics, Canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette, 24, glided to a bronze medal in Women's Figure Skating last night, just days after the sudden heart-attack death of her mother, Therese.
She confessed to the "Today" show's Meredith Vieira, "I went to the hospital and saw my mother dead and that's when I decided to keep skating."
