On this week's "Extra" Road Test, Nurse Jamie Sherrill takes a look at what you can be drinking to help you obtain a glowing and flawless complexion.

"Drinking water is necessary to flush toxins out of the body via the excretory system," Nurse Jamie explained. "Without an adequate amount of water flowing through the body, these toxins can build up in the body and escape through skin pores. By flushing the body internally with water, acne breakouts are less likely to occur due to toxin release through the skin. It's a good idea to drink half an ounce of water per pound of your body weight per pound. For example, if you weigh 120 pounds, you should drink 60 ounces of water."

There's nothing that makes a great pair of legs more fabulous than a sexy pair of heels from Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik or Jimmy Choo, but after a couple of hours standing in them, they might start to feel like a pair of gorgeous torture devices.

"The pain you get in the ball of your foot from wearing heels is usually metatarsalgia -- which means in Latin, 'I paid way too much for these shoes to hurt so bad,'" laughed "Extra" Lifechanger Nurse Jamie Sherrill. "Not really, but it's a medical term for pain and inflammation experienced at the ball of the foot."

Our foot-savvy nurse continued, "The key reason for this problem is that when wearing heels your body weight is placed almost entirely on the forefoot, instead of the heel and arch of the foot, so the metatarsals (the five long bones in the forefoot) drop and the surrounding ligaments weakens and the forefoot structure collapses, leading to excess pressure and friction in the ball of the foot. Podiatrists estimate that 80% of women that wear heels suffer from metatarsalgia."

Long sexy tresses are hot in Hollywood these days. How do stars keep all that hair looking healthy and shiny? This week, "Extra" Lifechanger Nurse Jamie Sherrill talks about one of the hottest trends in hair -- hair oils.

"There is the common misconception that topical oils are absorbed into the hair making it healthier, which is not exactly true," Nurse Jamie explained. "Hair is made of protein filaments -- not live cells -- so once it leaves the hair shaft the benefit of the oil is to smooth the hair cuticle and protect it. The chemical make up of some oils make them structurally better at penetrating the hair shaft than others and provide different benefits."

Here are some great tips and products for the best-looking hair!
