CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is the latest victim to be “swatted,” holding the distinction of being first celebrity targeted outside of Los Angeles.

According to the NY Post, someone made a 911 call saying a woman had been shot at Cooper’s home in the Hamptons. Several cops rushed to the scene, only to discover there was no shooting. Cooper was not at home at the time.

UPDATE: Homeowner Ariel Castro was charged with rape and kidnapping on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. His brothers, Pedro and Onil are being held, but face no charges at this time.

Cleveland Police Chief Michael McGrath told “Today,” "We have confirmation that they were bound, and there (were) chains and ropes in the home.” He added that the women, who were held captive for nearly 10 years, were “very rarely” allowed to go outside. "They were released out in the backyard once in a while," he said, noting that their overall health was good, “considering the circumstances.”

The Michael Jackson Estate is firing back at choreographer Wade Robson, who filed legal docs against the estate on Tuesday, claiming the King of Pop molested him when he was a child.

The estate’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, told TMZ, "Mr. Robson's claim is outrageous and pathetic. This is a young man who has testified at least twice under oath over the past 20 years and said in numerous interviews that Michael Jackson never did anything inappropriate to him or with him. Now, nearly four years after Michael has passed, this sad and less than credible claim has been made."

As the jury begins deliberating in the Jodi Arias murder trial, “Extra” spoke with a friend of Travis Alexander, the former boyfriend Arias is accused of murdering.

Clancy Talbot, who worked with Alexander, said, “Every time I saw her, she gave me a really bad feeling... made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, just a sick feeling.”


Talbot described Travis as a brother to her and was protective of him because Jodi was so jealous. Talbot explained, “Jodi was always worried about him giving someone more attention than her, if it was a female that made things even worse.”
