Reality star Kim Kardashian will try anything to “look and feel youthful,” even if it means having her own blood drawn and injected into her face! “Pain is beauty” rang true on Sunday’s episode of “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami” as the mom-to-be underwent the now infamous “vampire facial.”
According to Kim, “Basically, you draw your blood, spin it in a machine to get just the platelets out, and then put the blood all over your face.” A motorized device with nine acupuncture-like needles also helps get the job done. Ouch!This year, the flu hit particularly hard with 47 states reporting widespread influenza activity. Unfortunately, flu season is not yet over, and may continue into late May.
