Grammy Awards
Check it out!
Country superstar Carrie Underwood dazzled on the Grammys red carpet in an embroidered black strapless Roberto Cavalli gown and $31-million worth of Johnathon Arndt gems.
Then, Underwood took the stage to perform her hit “Blown Away” in a giant silver ball gown, designed by THEIA, on which gorgeous images were projected.
Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez’s Anthony Vaccarello dress, leg slit and all, stole the show at the 2013 Grammy Awards. Talking with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez on the red carpet, the two went through the dos and don’ts outlined in a memo from Grammy execs.
Mario: “No see-through clothing,” Lopez: “No.” Mario: “Buttocks and breasts must be covered.” Lopez: “Got it.” As for her leg, J.Lo smiled, “They didn’t say anything about leg.”The 2013 Grammy Awards had some great musical performances, from Bruno Mars and Sting jamming together to Justin Timberlake’s return to the stage with a full orchestra and Jay-Z!
Here are five of the best moments:
Chris Brown and Rihanna hit the Grammy Awards red carpet separately, but once they took their seats in the audience, the lovebirds were all over each other.
The on-again couple got cozy for cameras just days after RiRi was spotted blowing good luck kisses to him at a probation violation hearing related to the couple’s 2009 assault case. The "Diamonds" singer was also there when he was in a car accident involving paparazzi on Saturday. Hollywoodlife.com says Rihanna blew up his phone as soon as she heard about the crash. The group Fun. was one of the night’s big winners, taking home Song of the Year with “We Are Young,” along with Best New Artist.
Gotye and Kimbra took home the Grammy for Record of the Year for their haunting song “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
The big prize, Album of the Year, went to Mumford and Songs for “Babel.”
Other winners included Adele for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Set Fire to the Rain (Live),” Carrie Underwood for Best Country Solo Performance and Kelly Clarkson for Best Pop Solo Album for her album “Stronger.”
Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Kanye West were early Grammy winners on Sunday.

“Extra’s” Mario Lopez caught up with Ne-Yo on the 2013 Grammys red carpet, where the R&B singer dished on possibly joining the next season of the “The X Factor” as a judge.
Ne-Yo said, “I think it would be a great, great thing, I don’t want to talk to much about it, because I don’t want to get in no trouble… conversations have been had, but that’s about it.” He added, “If it happens, I’d be more then willing to do so. I feel like I’ve been around long enough to have some vital information for someone on the way up, definitely.”There was supposed to be a Grammys dress code this year, but apparently no one -- including Katy Perry, Rihanna and Kelly Rowland -- got the memo!
CBS Standards and Practices sent guests and presenters a detailed email, obtained by Deadline.com, outlining in excruciating detail as to what must be covered, including "bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack" and "[b]are sides or under curvature of the breasts."
