Nestlé Crunch is celebrating its 75th birthday this year and hosted the Nestlé Crunch 75th Birthday Showdown bakery competition to honor the milestone!

Dessert lovers took part in the Showdown by voting at Facebook.com/NestléCrunch for their favorite bakery or favorite Nestlé Crunch-inspired treat over the past month.

The three finalist treats were from Sweet E’s Los Angeles, Lutz Bakery in Chicago, and Sweet Mandy B’s in Chicago. The grand prize-winning bakery’s treat -- the Nestlé Crunch Birthday Bar -- from Sweet Mandy B’s, was chosen by chocolate experts, including celebrity chef Carla Hall and was revealed exclusively on “Extra”!

Nick Loeb Loves Cooking for Fiancée Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara’s fiancé Nick Loeb, founder of Loeb’s Foods, joined “Extra” at The Grove to show Mario Lopez his newest creation with Auntie Anne’s pretzels, the Onion Crunch gourmet pretzel dog. Nick also dished on what he and Sofia eat at home.

“I cook about once a week,” Nick said. “I cook everything, I always get yelled at to make healthier type foods… My fiancée prefers to eat healthy… I like to cook anything for her, she loves chicken, pasta, salad.”

“Extra’s” Maria Menounos was in NYC on Thursday and had a chance to sample a Commodore Vanderbilt, a specialty cocktail at Michael Jordan’s The Steak House.

The restaurant, located in NYC’s Grand Central Terminal, helped to celebrate the terminal’s 100th anniversary!
