At the 9th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball Saturday, "Extra" spoke exclusively with Brooke Mueller, who attended her first public event since the domestic scuffle with her husband, Charlie Sheen, last Christmas.

Not wearing her wedding ring, Mueller spoke openly and told "Extra's" Terri Seymour, "Mentally, I feel really clear and spiritually, I feel really connected. I'm doing good."

"Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with Mark Feuerstein, star of the USA summer hit "Royal Pains," to get the scoop on the new season.

"It gets very wild... season two, very wild," he said.

Feuerstein tells AJ that he would love to get Sandra Bullock, whom he met while making "Two Weeks Notice" and "Practical Magic," to guest star. "I'd love to have Sandy on the show, as we called her back in the day."

At first it was only a suggestion, but rocker Bret Michaels might actually be one of the frontrunners to replace Simon Cowell as the new "American Idol" judge.

"Everyone keeps asking me about it and hinting around about it," Michaels told "Extra" backstage at his concert in Biloxi. "I tell ya what, I'd be honored to do it! If there's one thing I can do, I feel like I can really give great advice to a lot of young musicians."

Now that his time on "American Idol" is officially over, TV mogul Simon Cowell has set his sights on making his British hit show "The X Factor" a hit in America, too.

In an "Extra" exclusive, Cowell opened up to Terri Seymour about the new show.

Since she left "Grey's Anatomy," Katherine Heigl tells "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli that it's hard for her to watch the show.

"I feel really outta the loop. There was a time when I knew the storylines before they aired and there was a time when I was present in these scenes or these storylines -- and Alex moving on is very difficult for me," said Heigl.

The actress also tells Jerry that she's a little jealous and feels like she's "missing the party." "I kinda had to just take a step back... The beauty is I can always buy the season on iTunes, when I feel there's enough distance," Katherine said while laughing.

In an exclusive interview, "Extra's" Lauren Sanchez caught up with Cher backstage at her Colosseum concert at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace. The star dished about her new film, "Burlesque" with Christina Aguilera, and talked about her body -- and the possibility of a new concert tour.

When asked if she thinks she'll ever tour again, Cher got a little tongue-tied, telling Lauren, "Oy... oy... please oy, oy, um... I keep hoping 'Burlesque' is a hit so I'll have two new numbers to do." Still evasive, she does at least admit, "Well it's kind of a yes. I guess it's almost a yes, but it's not quite a yes." Is that clear? The woman sitting with Cher is her best friend and choreographer, Doriana Sanchez.
