"Extra" has received the following statement from Warner Bros. and ABC Television:
"Former 'The Bachelor' participants Jake and Vienna taped an interview last night. As this was the first time the two had seen one another since their recent breakup, the atmosphere was emotionally charged. However, and contrary to reports that have surfaced about the interview, at no time was anyone ever physically in harm's way, nor was anyone ever threatened with physical violence."

Jake spoke exclusively to "Extra" about his breakup with Vienna and their face-to-face special, airing on "The Bachelorette," Monday, July 5.
In "Extra's" exclusive interview with "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka, he set the record straight on why he and Vienna split.
"Like any relationship, you know, you have problems," Jake told to "Extra's" Mario Lopez. "You're two different people. You have to work things out."
"When I got down on one knee I meant it," the "Bachelor" star confessed. "I loved her and was willing to fight for her. In my opinion, you really don't break up until you're ready to about kill each other -- or you sell the other person out."
The recently split "Bachelor" couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will be face-to-face again July 5 on ABC's "The Bachelorette."

"Extra's" Mario Lopez sat down with "The Bachelor" star in a very candid and exclusive interview, in which Pavelka opened up about his recent break-up with fiancée Vienna, rumors in the media -- and their upcoming reunion on "The Bachelorette."
"Extra" sat down with longtime environmental activist Robert Redford for an exclusive interview regarding the Gulf oil spill disaster.
"To me, it was inevitable," Redford told "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli. "It breaks my heart for [the victims]. They did not deserve this."
Ellen DeGeneres spoke exclusively with "Extra" about the future of "American Idol," the signing of Greyson Chance, and what we can expect from her new "Somewhat Special Special."
The big question mark is: who will take over Simon Cowell's spot now that he's vacated the "Idol" seat? "I don't think anyone can replace Simon," DeGeneres admitted. "I think we just have to find a new judge. I don't know that somebody has to necessarily be mean, but we'll see."
Anna Nicole Smith's personal items hit the auction block at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on June 26th, with proceeds going to both charity and into a trust for her daughter Dannielynn.
Anna's ex, Larry Birkhead, gave "Extra" a special auction preview to show all of the amazing items open for bidding.

It's been 25 years since cult classic "The Goonies" was released -- and the film's original star, Josh Brolin, is finally giving an answer to the question: Will there be a sequel?
"People keep asking me over and over about a sequel," Brolin told "Extra" at the "Jonah Hex" junket. "I saw Steven Spielberg [the film's producer] on the street about a month and a half ago, and I asked the reality. I hear there is a script, yes, but there's no talk about doing a 'Goonies' sequel at this very moment. And that's the first time I've been truthful about that answer... ever. Exclusive!"
"Extra's" Lauren Sanchez not only got to talk with the "Twilight: Eclipse" cast -- including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Launter -- she also got to take some fun impromptu photos with them, courtesy of PhotoBox L.A.
