Actor Joaquin Phoenix knew he and his pal Casey Affleck were taking on a big project when they decided to make the mockumentary "I'm Still Here," but Phoenix admitted to "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli that he thought it got a little out of control.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian visited "Extra's" Mario Lopez at The Grove to chat about her European vacation, being hounded by paparazzi -- and all those pesky rumors.

"Extra's" Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza welcomed a healthy baby girl, Gia Francesca Lopez, weighing in at 6llb, 4 oz, on Saturday, Sept. 11 in Burbank, CA. Mother and baby are doing well.

"We are so overjoyed. What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world," Mario told "Extra."

A former friend of Oksana Grigorieva, who chooses to remain anonymous, was interviewed by "Extra's" Special Correspondent Lauren Sivan. The ex friend slams the singer as a gold-digger who is only focused on her music career.

"She was relentless in finding that person who was going to help her career, help her with her son, help her have a good life," said the estranged pal.

In the upcoming summer flick "Eat Pray Love," James Franco and Julia Roberts share a romantic journey, but Franco tells "Extra" that his co-star is "extremely shy" when it comes to onscreen romance.

James and Julia engage in a number of romantic scenes, but Franco tells "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli, "She is extremely shy when it comes to any kind of romantic scene, so I felt like, oh I guess I'm the more experienced one."
