Food Network star Paula Deen came to The Grove bearing gifts for "Extra's" Mario Lopez. The sassy cooking show host said, "I brought you some Chocolate Puddles and pecan cookies."

When asked how she felt about chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain criticizing her cooking habits as "unhealthy," Deen scoffed, "This is coming from a man that eats unwashed anuses from wildebeests, so ask me how seriously I take his complaints."

Homemaking maven Martha Stewart stopped by The Grove to chat with "Extra's" Maria Menounos about her flirtation with "Tonight" host Jay Leno, advice to Kim Kardashian, and her daughter Alexis' revealing book.

"I consider that book really funny," said Stewart about Alexis' book "Whateverland: Learning to Live Here," in which the younger Stewart satirically describes being raised by the Queen of Taste. Martha set the record straight. "The press was trying to make it not so funny, but it is funny."

"Saturday Night Live" alum Darrell Hammond has written a new memoir in which he reveals his battle with substance abuse -- and once being taken away from the "SNL" studios in a straitjacket.

In his book, "God If You're Not Up There, I'm F--ked," Hammond -- who was best known on the show for impersonating Donald Trump, President Bill Clinton and a raunchy Sean Connery -- reveals that his cocaine addiction began in 2002, and in 2009 he tried crack, quickly switching his habit.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs refused a potentially life-saving surgery after finding out he had pancreatic cancer, according to biographer Walter Isaacson. Jobs later admitted he regretted the decision.

Rather than having the surgical procedure, Jobs tried alternative therapies, explaining he didn't want to have the operation because it was too invasive. Jobs ended up having the surgery nine months later. Isaacson, who will appear on "60 Minutes" on Sunday, said Steve initially attempted to treat the disease with various treatments, including "diet and a spiritualist."
