Jennifer Hudson showed off her slimmed-down figure at The Grove to promote her first book, "I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down."
The talented singer's book follows her 80-pound weight loss journey, and includes how being overweight influenced her mindset. After struggling with weight issues and industry pressure to be thin, it was ultimately her 2-year-old son, David, who made her want to get in better shape. Hudson says she and fiance David Otunga "wanted to start him off right."
Suzanne Somers stopped by The Grove to talk about her internet series which chronicles her stem cell breast reconstruction and recovery. The home videos offer an inside look at the emotional journey Somers has endured since surviving breast cancer.
An advocate for stem cell research, Somers is also involved in encouraging doctors and women to use stem cells to create new breasts after a mastectomy. She says after undergoing the stem cell surgery she feels her body looks "exactly the same and beautiful."
