In Oprah Winfrey’s exclusive interview with Paris Jackson, the 14-year-old talks about how hard her dad, Michael Jackson, worked at keeping her and her siblings’ childhoods normal, which included making them wear masks when they were in public.

“I was really confused,” Paris admitted to Oprah. “I didn’t get why I was wearing a mask.”

The teenager has now come to understand her father’s motives. “I understand it now why our dad would want our face covered when we went out without him. We wouldn't be recognized, and we could have a normal childhood.”

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus made an appearance on the Lifetime TV show “The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet,” discussing the importance of parents talking to their kids about sex.

"The girls that really base how much they're worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody, that makes me really sad, because sex is actually really beautiful. It's the only way we create, and it's the only way the world keeps going. So it's ignorant not to talk to your kids about it or [not] make it seem as magical or cool as it actually is.”

The 19-year-old, who is dating “The Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth, is keen to break away from her former all-American, “Hannah Montana” image and is now emerging as a sexy young woman, as evidenced by her showing up to the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in nothing but a tuxedo jacket and high heels.

On “The Conversation,” Miley gives her former 14-year-old self some advice. Watch the clip!

I'm not a celebrity. You don't hear about Peter Cook until Christie Brinkley dredges something up from the past to make herself relevant in the media again."
