Michael Jace Charged with Murder of Wife; Autopsy Rules Death a ‘Homicide’
Actor Michael Jace, best known for his role on "The Shield," was charged on Thursday with the murder of his wife, April Jace.
April died from "multiple gunshot wounds," according to preliminary autopsy results. The death was ruled a homicide by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
If convicted, Jace faces 50 years to life in state prison, the L.A. County District Attorney's office said in a statement.
Jace is due to be arraigned on Thursday. Prosecutors will ask that his bail be set at $2 million.
