The Oscar Nominees Pick Their Favorites to Win the 2014 Academy Awards
Bing and the Hollywood Reporter celebrated this year's Oscar nominees at the annual Nominees Night at Spago in Los Angeles.
As part of Bing's awards season campaign, the search engine set up an interactive ballot box on the red carpet of the event and asked the night's guests, including nominees Ethan Hawke, Julie Delpy, and Jared Leto, to vote on who they think will win Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Picture.
After the Oscar nominees walked the carpet and voted, "The Wolf of Wall Street," Leonardo DiCaprio, and Cate Blanchett were the clear frontrunners to win in their respective categories.
Not surprisingly, the various nominees supported their own films when possible. Philomena Lee, whose life was adapted in the film "Philomena," showed her support for the movie and for Judi Dench as Best Actress.
Actor Jared Leto came to the event to support his film, "Dallas Buyers Club," while "American Hustle" director David O. Russell spent a few extra minutes in the voting booth to keep picking his film's actors, Amy Adams and Christian Bale.
"Before Midnight" star Julie Delpy, who was nominated with co-star Ethan Hawke for Best Adapted Screenplay, was stumped when it came to picking her favorite of the Best Actor nominees, saying, "Everybody was too good this year!"
