Hilarious ‘SNL’ Video: One Direction vs. Paul Rudd and His ‘Man Band’
Funnyman Paul Rudd hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the third time on Saturday… and in his opening monologue, he declared that this time he would not to be overshadowed by the musical guest.
Fat chance.
British boy band wonders One Direction came out on stage to stand around and look adorable, but Rudd was prepared. His fellow “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” co-stars Will Ferrell, David Koechner and Steve Carell stood next to Rudd, his "man band," and kicked off a fun-spirited battle for the ages.
"We are Nine Direction," Rudd proudly announced after the song.
Rudd later played One Direction's “No. 1 fan”… to hilarious effect.
