Hugh Jackman Reacts to Cancer Scare
"Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman made his first red carpet appearance Tuesday night since undergoing skin cancer surgery on his nose.
"Extra" met up with Jackman at the David Lynch Foundation's Change Begins Within gala, where he spoke about his health scare. “I’m feeling relieved, it’s good, cancers all out and I’m very, very grateful to my beautiful wife, who forced me to go and get a checkup… typical man, I was like, ‘Oh I’ll go next week.’”
Two weeks ago, Jackman broke the news of his skin cancer on Instagram, posting this message praising his wife, “Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had a basil [sic] cell carcinoma. Please don't be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!”
