Reminisce About the Punk Rock Movement in ‘CBGB’
The indie biopic “CBGB” takes a look back at the inception of the punk rock movement in NYC and the venerable club CBGB, run by eccentric owner Hilly Kristal (Alan Rickman), that launched bands like The Ramones, Blondie and The Talking Heads.
ExtraTV.com sat down with stars Johnny Galecki, who plays music manager Terry Ork, and Ashley Greene, who portrays Hilly’s business-minded daughter Lisa, to talk about how great live music used to be.

“CBGB” opens Friday in limited theaters.
