The ‘Worst Twerk Fail EVER’ Video Was a Jimmy Kimmel Hoax!
Gotcha! It turns out Jimmy Kimmel was the mastermind behind the latest viral video, “Worst Twerk Fail EVER”!
The hilarious clip shows “Caitlin Heller” (aka stuntwoman Daphne Avalon) trying to film herself twerking upside down against a door when her roommate walks in, sending her crashing into a coffee table and then catching fire.
On his Monday night show, Jimmy showed an extended version of the vid, featuring himself coming to Caitlin's rescue with a fire extinguisher.
“To the conspiracy theorists on the Internet who thought the video was fake: You were right it was fake,” Kimmel said, adding that he didn't do anything to push the video, which now has more than 9 million views. “We just put it up on YouTube and let the magic happen.”
Kimmel emphasized that they filmed the prank two months ago… long before Miley Cyrus' MTV VMAs performance.
