Sharon Osbourne on Marriage: ‘It’s Acceptance of Who That Person Is’
“The Talk” host Sharon Osbourne joined “Extra’s” Mario Lopez at The Grove to talk about how the Atkins diet has changed her life, and she opened up about her relationship with husband Ozzy Osbourne.
The Atkins Ambassador revealed to Mario that all is well at home, and Ozzy has been sober for over 90 days, following his admission that he had fallen off the wagon.
On the key to their 30-year marriage, Sharon explained, “It's acceptance of who that person is. If you think you're ever going to change anyone, you’re not going to do it. You love them for who they are.”
As for Sharon’s health, she is down 23 pounds. “It’s the first summer in a long time that I’m healthy. Ozzy and I were at the beach this weekend, jogging up and down the beach. That would never happen to me, not until I found Atkins.”
She continued, saying Atkins isn’t just about eating meat. “It’s about old ideas, old perceptions. This diet is fish, chicken, meat, vegetables, certain fruits you can have. It’s changed my life for the better!”
