Kate Upton to High School Senior: 'I'd Love to Go to Prom with You'
Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model Kate Upton shocked high school student Jake Davidson on Wednesday when she agreed to go to the prom as his date! The senior from Los Angeles tweeted a YouTube video at the beauty on March 17 asking her to the dance, and a few days later she called to tell him “I'd love to go with you.”
Davidson was chatting with “Today's” Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb about the making of the video when the hosts told him they had Kate on the phone.
While he was speechless for a moment, Jake eventually recovered, telling her, “This just got so much better now that you are on the phone. I'm telling you it will be a great night, great evening -- I could even get the curfew extended, hopefully by my parents, maybe. I hope you'd be interested if your schedule is free, and what time should I pick you up if you are interested?”
The model replied, “I definitely have to check schedules, but you seem like so much fun and if everything works out, I'd love to go with you. I know we'd have a blast.''
A stunned Davidson answered, "I can't believe it.”
