Lisa Ling Welcomes a Baby Girl

Journalist Lisa Ling, host of the OWN show “Our America,” is a new mom!

Ling welcomed a baby girl named Jett Ling Song on Saturday, her first child with her oncologist husband, Dr. Paul Song, OWN confirmed to E! News.

The baby was born weighing 6 pounds, 6 ounces. "Lisa and Jett are resting comfortably," OWN announced. "The proud parents are enjoying the first day of parenthood and are looking forward to bringing their daughter home."

The former co-host on “The View” announced her pregnancy in October on “Anderson Live” when she showed Anderson Cooper her sonogram. She laughed, "I was trying to keep it quiet for a long time, but now I'm getting to a point where I just look like I have a beer belly," she joked.

I am so happy for Lisa Ling and her husband, I remember seeing her on Anderson, she glowed, she was clearly over joyed and excited about her impending baby daughter, I am so happy for both Lisa Ling and her Husband Dr. Paul Song, Jett is a beautiful name. What wonderful news.
