David Duchovny on Being a Bad Guy in ‘Phantom’

March 01, 2013 At the Grove
Actor David Duchovny stopped by The Grove to chat with “Extra’s” Maria Menounos about his new thriller, “Phantom.”

The film is inspired by a real-life 1968 incident in which a Russian submarine sank off the coast of Hawaii. Duchovny explained, “So the movie is kind of about what might have happened aboard that sub. Did it go rogue? Was it going to fire on Hawaii and start World War III? That kind of stuff.” Duchovny added, “I'm a pretty bad guy.”

“Phantom” glides into theaters this Friday.
