Seth MacFarlane: No One is Safe on Oscar's Night

February 22, 2013 Academy Awards

Hollywood is already a bit nervous about sharp-tongued Seth MacFarlane hosting the Oscars on Sunday, and for good reason. According to the “Family Guy” creator, no one is safe!

“If the joke is funny, then I think everyone is pretty much fair game,” he told “Extra’s” Maria Menounos. “If it’s a mean joke, but it also gets a big laugh, I think you get away with it.”

The “Ted” star, however, is already expecting critics to come after him the day after the award show.

“I think at the end of the day it is a fun job, but I think it is a thankless job,” he explained. “Because no matter what you do -- you can put on the greatest show in the world, but I think you are still going to get your a** handed to you by the press the next day.”
