Jodi Arias Says She Shot Ex by Mistake, Doesn't Recall Stabbing Him

Accused murderer Jodi Arias took the stand today and revealed shocking new details about the day her ex, Travis Alexander, was shot in the face and stabbed 27 times.

"When I grabbed the gun, I ran out of the closet," she said. "He was chasing me. I turned around... and pointed it at him with both of my hands. Like a linebacker, he got kind of low and grabbed my waist… the gun went off."
Jodi claimed she didn’t know he'd been hit and that he was screaming “Gonna f**king kill you, b**ch." That’s when she thought, “Crap, he's really going to be pissed now.”
Arias told the court she had no memory of snapping pictures during or after the altercation and added, "I have no memory of stabbing him.”
The 32-year-old, who faces the death penalty if convicted, said she tried to cover up her actions after the altercation by disposing of the gun and leaving a voicemail on Travis' cell phone.

If she loved him so much that she'd forgive him being violent, controlling & even perverted, why, when she "accidentally" shot him, did she not react by immediately being concerned with his being hurt? Why continue the attack with a knife & finish him off?
So interesting how Jodi's memory fails her at the exact point in the story when she commits a horrific crime - I've been expecting this since the trial opened.
Some commentators say Mr Martinez is spending too much time "in the weeds" & allowing Jodi to run on & even giggle. I think this shows that she, in a situation in which her life is at risk & she is facing the same sort of "grilling", decibels & male inquisitor that she says Travis was she is not the whimpering little waif she tried to portray on direct. She's sassy, giggling at the prosecutor & looks like she's having fun - she's too dumb to realize that even though she's using techniques that would make people upset & de-stabilized in ordinary life, she's demonstrating a complete lack of fear in the face of "grilling", a potential death sentence & the "baggage" of having supposedly experienced being "abused" by long distance texts & phone calls from Travis.
@Hansome Jaques - I hope you're being sarcastic. The camera records the fact that 40 seconds after she took a photo of Travis in the shower, she had cut his throat so deep he was nearly decapitated - and then she shot him in the face.
Sweet Jodi Arias is too pretty to spend another day of her precious life in jail. It is time to set her free. She has suffered enough.
