Howard Stern Slams Clive Davis Over Kelly Clarkson Comments

February 20, 2013 Celebrity Feuds

Shock jock Howard Stern stood up for Kelly Clarkson on Wednesday, slamming Clive Davis for comments he made about the “American Idol” alum in his new memoir, “The Soundtrack of My Life.”

“It sickens me when management guys like to set the record straight about how f**king creative they are and what geniuses they are.”

He continued, “This guy is trying to diminish what she does? Doesn’t he have enough in life, can’t he tell his story without f**king degrading her?”

Stern is behind Kelly all the way, saying she has an “amazing voice” and has “worked hard to get to where she is.”

Kelly blogged about Clive’s “Soundtrack” on Tuesday, claiming he was “spreading false information about me and my music." Read her post here.

Clive responded to Kelly's comments by telling the L.A. Times, “In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences. I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together.”

Is this even a story? It is estimated that 1 in every 3 women in the Armed Forces is raped. People in high ranking positions are using the United States military and the American government to cover up these crimes and the national media is doing nothing to report it.

Never thought I would agree with Howard Stern but I do and good for him. Clive Davis didn't have to do this but it seems he needs the spotlight.
