I think it is both UNFAIR and poor sportsmanship to award Mario the win in trick-shot basketball.
Mario went first and missed, Maria then tried and missed. Mario tried a second time and made it.
In all fair basketball contests, Maria should have been allowed to match the made shot. They then would continue until someone made one and the other missed.
Just say'in, fair is fair!!!!!!!
