Bradley Cooper on Rumors He’d Play Lance Armstrong in Biopic

“Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with “Silver Linings Playbook” star Bradley Cooper at the 2013 SAG Awards, who set the record straight about playing Lance Armstrong in an upcoming movie from J.J. Abrams’ production company.
Cooper explained, “I was in Manchester, doing ‘BBC Morning,’ the guy out of the blue said, ‘Would you want to play Lance Armstrong in a movie?’ I was like ‘Yeah, he is fascinating. What a fascinating character’ and that was it… I had no idea J.J. Abrams had the rights.”
But he’d do it if he was offered the part? The actor smiled, “Let’s keep it real. I don’t want to get excited.”
The SAG nominee, who was flying solo at the awards, also cleared up the rumor that Taylor Swift was interested in dating him. He laughed, “Crazy, never met her, that’s not even true at all… that’s completely made up.”
