Is Michelle Obama the Next 'Rachel Zoe Project'?

January 23, 2013 As Seen On Extra

First Lady Michelle Obama could be the next “Rachel Zoe Project,” if the celebrity stylist has her way.

Zoe told “Extra’s” Maria Menounos, “She always looks incredible, I have never disliked what she has worn. I love that she wears new designers, I love that she wears designers from around the world. I love her bangs!”

The reality star is no stranger to high-profile clientele. She’s been especially busy lately with the award season. Talking trends with Maria, she explained, “All of a sudden it’s a sea of black and tulle and red, but I do think, moving forward, we’re going to see a lot more white, for sure a lot more metallic.”

Red carpet clients aside, she’s also enjoying dressing her 1-year-old son, Skyler. “I am having as much fun as one can with a boy, I might dress him as a little French boy sometimes because I feel they can be a little more unisex.”

Rachel would like to start her own children’s line “at some point,” but is relying on lines like Gucci, Burberry, Gap and Zara for the time being.

She added, “When he has his own style, I am just going to have to let him do it.”

Now that she's a mother, Zoe thinks the upcoming season of “The Rachel Zoe Project” will be the most relatable yet. “It’s my favorite season by a long shot, there isn’t a lot of petty drama,” she said of the fifth installment. “I think a lot of people will relate to it… being a working mom and trying to figure out life.”
