The Kardashians Have Been Swatted!
Kim Kardashian exclaimed "swatting" is “not a joke!”
The reality TV star tweeted her concerns after SWAT teams rushed to the home of her mother, Kris Jenner, on Friday after receiving a call that shots had been fired.
Authorities showed up at the mansion of Bruce and Kris Jenner, but turns out the celebrity family was the latest victim of a prank known as “swatting.”
Kim K tweeted, “Just got a call from my mom telling me about this prank call that someone was shot in their home and 15 swat team & 3 helicopters showed up!”
“These prank calls are NOT funny,” the mom-to-be Kim wrote. “People can get arrested for this! I hope they find out how is behind this. It’s dangerous & not a joke!”
Along with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, celebrities including Ashton Kutcher, Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise have been the victims of “swatting.”
