Video! Lifehouse Threw Out All the Rules for New Album

January 16, 2013 Music

After selling 15 million records, Lifehouse launched a sixth album with a brand new sound!

Lead singer Jason Wade told “Extra’s” Terri Seymour, “We just knew that we couldn't do the same thing again. We had to throw out the blueprints and all the rules.”

The band, including Jason, Rick Woolstenhulme, Jr. (drums), Bryce Soderberg (bass guitar, back-up vocals) and Ben Carey (lead guitar), is doing exactly that with “Almeria,” offering a mix of old school and country.

The musicians also teamed with Natasha Bedingfield for the single “Between the Raindrops,” who told Terri, “I felt like the heavens opened [when I heard the song], laaaaaa, and I said I'd like to put my voice on that!”
