I gotta say that it is very disturbing that with all of the poverty, natural disasters, just plain needy people here is the USA are NEVER on the radar of 'celebrity' causes. Hey you guys what about your country first?????????????????????

Hi, I applaud his efforts to help the people of Haiti, but why is it NO one ever tries to help the people in this country. How many people's lives are in ruin because of hurricane Sandy. How many people in New York are now jobless, homeless, etc. How long did it take the government to do anything about it? What about all of the homeless, jobless, hungry people throughout this country? I lost my job nearly 2 years ago and there is nothing out there. The government cut my unemployment assistance and now I and millions of others are in danger of losing our homes and everything else we have worked for. We have no medical care, no insurance, no hope. I don't see other countries rushing to OUR aid, what I do see is thousands of people who ARE able to help us, send that assistance OUT of this country. Perhaps we should start to help our own first for a change!
