Anne Hathaway’s ‘Les Miserables’ Inspiration

Before she thanked her mother during her acceptance speech at the 2013 Golden Globes, Anne Hathaway spoke to “Extra’s” Mario Lopez on the red carpet about the first time she saw "Les Miserables."

Hathaway said, “I saw my mom play my role of Fantine when I was 8, and that’s when I decided I wanted to be an actor.”

The actress won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for the same role and thanked her mom, Kate, for showing her how it’s done.
