Charlie Sheen's Advice for Lindsay Lohan, Truth Behind Mayor Pic

January 09, 2013 The A List

“Extra’s” Terri Seymour caught up with Charlie Sheen for an exclusive interview about his “Scary Movie” co-star Lindsay Lohan, ex-wife Brooke Mueller, the controversy surrounding his recent photo with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and the extension of his hit show "Anger Management."

Charlie revealed that he bonded with LiLo over being tabloid favorites. “She's a good gal and I've been through a lot of the same stuff,” he said. “It's like I told her when I met her, just don't take it so seriously, just lead with humor and lead with your heart and the rest will work itself out.”

The actor explained that paying Lohan’s tax bill was just “paying it forward,” and confirmed he did get a thank-you afterward. He explained, “She was very cool about that… she's a sweet lady and I'm rooting for her.”

Another woman Charlie is rooting for is ex-wife Mueller. “She's doing alright.  Yes, as good as Brooke can do, she's doing fine, yeah.”

Sheen also shared the truth about his night out in Cabo with Mayor Villaraigosa. The veteran actor caused a stir when he tweeted a pic of the pair “partying” together.

“The whole thing was blown out ... I was just trying to make a joke and I feel bad because he's such a good mayor and he's such a good dude.”

Sheen was hoping to “get a few laughs” and admits he should have taken the mayor’s position more seriously. “I wasn't respectful of that, so that's on me. That's on me. Sorry, Antonio.”

One thing Charlie is proud of… the success of his FX show “Anger Management,” which was just renewed for a record-breaking 90 episodes. Charlie gushed, “I guess they like us… they want to keep us on forever! One of the most amazing additions is my father playing my dad… we both have more fun than should be legal.”

The fun continues when “Anger Management” returns Thursday, January 17 on FX.

Please do not let Terri speak. Ms Seymore is painful to watch and listen too. I change the channel
