Piers Morgan vs. Alex Jones on Gun Control

Texas radio host Alex Jones stopped by “Piers Morgan Tonight” on Monday to defend his highly conservative and controversial views on guns in America.
Jones ranted more than debated, insisting "more guns means less crime" and firearms protect against "tyrannical government and street thugs."
Morgan has been very vocal about stricter gun control, and Jones responded by starting an online petition calling for Morgan's deportation to the UK. Currently, the petition has over 106,000 signatures.
Jones rages at Morgan, "Hitler took the guns! Stalin took the guns! Mao took the guns! Fidel Castro took the guns! Hugo Chavez took the guns! And I'm here to tell you that 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms!!"

Dr. John Lott Jr. was at one time vehemently against firearm ownership (like too many other ignorants) however, unlike most others, he stated his goal of obtaining definitive evidence in our history to prove he was right. Like ALL other academics who have tried this before him, he came back utterly defeated. The one thing he has done which sets him apart from the others is that he had personal integrity and honor to do his best to teach the ignorant (even the invincibly ignorant) that firearms are neccessary to maintain our freedom.

Wednesday night on Piers Morgan Tonight. Piers said 35 or 40 deaths in England and whales by guns. I looked up as he said to do at http://www.citizensreportuk.org/reports/murders-fatal-vio... and the number is 564 in 2011 and 550 in 2011. The number is much higher than what Piers was saying. I am not supporting anyone on this but the number is higher than Piers says it is.
Congress can not solve the problem. It is a people problem. People with mental problems mostly. They have to be to do something like killing kids or anyone.
Need for more checks and when buying guns. But what about the people that already have guns?
Watch your kids, neighbors and friends and if you think there is a problem, report it! It is individuals that need to look out for each other.
Guns are a part of the American Constitution. We have the right to have them.

The Second Amendment is NOT about hunting. The Founding Fathers commented in many writings, such as the Federalist Papers, that gun ownership by Americans is to protect them against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. It also allows them to protect themselves in fighting a tyrannical government. Finally, it prevents OUR government from diminishing the Constitution. Piers obviously doesn't realize that since the gun bans and confiscations in his own country violent crime, including murder, has climbed steadily. I'm glad Alex Jones had the cajoles to get in Morgan's face.

Alex Jones did more for the gun control crowd than all the statistics combined. He was completely unhinged and showed exactly why he should never own one. I'm stunned that there are people who take Jones seriously. Yikes.
its not Morgans Fault that he is Clueless, or a Moron, He was brought up in america, he knows nothing about guns, not taught the proper respect for Guns or for Others, He has know say in Gun Laws. if he had been brought up properly he would understand.
So he wants to ban Guns whats next will he go to Japan and try to ban Knives, or just stay here and try to ban Cars or Cigarettes? after all they kill more people than guns do!
Guns are not bad, I sat my AR-15 and 3 Loaded Clips by my front door, i even cracked the door open a few inch,s and i backed up about 20 feet and watched it .... i watched it all Day, Nothing, Not once did my AR try to load its self, try to run out the door or even try to shoot anyone, so either Guns are not Bad OR I have a very well behaved AR!

I find it amazing that Piers Morgan has no clue he is just wrong. You cannot ban or legislate "crazy", you can only hope to react to it quickly enough to stop it. A firearm with lots of ammunition in the hands of a responsible citizen helps to stop a lunatic rampage. Police officers cannot be everywhere at all times. Thank you Alex Jones
