Peter Greenberg’s Travel Tips for the Holiday Season

December 24, 2012 Travel

Travel expert Peter Greenburg talked with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez about some smart tips in traveling this Christmas and New Year’s.

Greenberg says don’t stress if you still want to fly at Christmas. “For procrastinators, you want to fly on Christmas morning… it’ll be empty and you come back on New Year’s morning when everybody else is recovering from New Year’s Eve.”

As for tricks to avoid flight delays, Greenberg suggests, “Think alternate airports. Think Milwaukee instead of O’Hare… that’s the secret airport.”

But for the best travel deal of all, Greenberg says, "Amtrak! Unlimited travel for 15 days for $500."

Peter's information is useful for the travelers who generally love to travel via plain but sometimes it becomes difficult as most of the people can't afford traveling via plain. So for those people traveling via car can be the best option as they are the most comfortable and affordable option.

Are you tired of going office daily? Work at home with Google and make 50$/hour! I've made $64,000 so far this year working online and I'm a full time student. I'm using an online business opportunity I heard about and I've made such great money. It's really user friendly and I'm just so happy that I found out about it. Here is what I do,

While Peter's info may be useful to some, most of it is common knowledge on travel bulletin boards.
