Video! Kate Middleton in First Post-Hospital Appearance

Kate Middleton made her first post-hospital appearance alongside David Beckham on Sunday at BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

The expectant Duchess of Cambridge was on hand to present Tour de France champ and Olympic Gold Medalist Bradley Wiggins with this year’s top prize.

Middleton wowed in a green floor-length gown by Alexander McQueen that kept her belly hidden with a split-front peplum.

The mother-to-be’s presence was a big surprise, considering the cancellation of several scheduled appearances due to hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute morning sickness.

Kate has also stayed out of the spotlight following the death of Jacintha Saldanha, the King Edward VII hospital nurse who committed suicide after forwarding a prank call regarding the Middleton’s health.
