Kelly Clarkson Is Engaged!
Singer Kelly Clarkson is engaged to boyfriend Brandon Blackstock! The “American Idol” winner tweeted the happy news on Saturday.
"I'M ENGAGED!!!!!" Clarkson, 30, wrote. "I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)"
Later, she shared a picture of her giant engagement ring on Whosay, explaining, "It's a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt! They did an amazing job! I can't wait to make Brandon's ring with Johnathon as well!"
Her beau isn’t a singer himself, but he has plenty of ties to the music industry. He manages Blake Shelton, while his dad, Narvel Blackstock, manages Kelly. Oh, and his stepmom is Reba McEntire!
Kelly hasn’t been shy about wanting to tie the knot with Brandon. She told “Extra’s” Terri Seymour in November that they are “totally in love” and added, “we'll totally probably get married but everyone keeps pushing me, so no, we don’t [want to] rush.”
The “Moment Like This” singer isn’t planning a big wedding. She told Ellen DeGeneres, "We will totally, probably elope."
