Royal Hoax Nurse Criticized Hospital Staff in Suicide Note
Nurse Jacintha Saldhana, who killed herself after taking a prank call involving Kate Middleton, reportedly criticized hospital staff in a suicide note she left for her family.
A source told the Daily Mirror that Jacintha’s husband, Ben Barboza, wants answers. The insider said, “Needless to say, Ben wants a full inquiry into what happened and he wants to make sure the truth comes out.”
Jacintha was the nurse on duty last week when two Australian deejays called King Edward VII’s Hospital. They posed as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles and inquired about the expectant Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Saldhana patched the call through to a nurse in Kate's ward.
There are reports that the deejays are now receiving death threats.

Ok I will try to explain this from a nurses perspective. You work long and hard for that degree. And yes there are regulations you must keep like no letting confidential medical information out to the worng people. She and everyone involved at the hospital will be investigated. From why was she on shift, to who trained her, and who was in charge and who is the CEO! Not to mention the loss of a nurses license as you will be reported to your licensure board. This in turn results in loss of a pay check and all that you have worked for your entire life. Your identity as we take are profession very seriously. You can be assured the hospital may have been supportive, but there most definitly was an investigation of how policy procedure broke down and who would be found at fault. Not to mention this nurse was from India and how she must have felt letting her family down. There is so much more that goes with this than just being embarrassed. I know many nurses whom if lost their license and abiity to work in the professin would consider or ponder the suicidal thought. The fact that she was depressed and may have attemtped suicide efore does not negate the fact that a stupid (irresponsible) prank for confidential medical info was pulled. Think twice before you mess with someones job and lively hood.
That hospital should be ashamed for making a big deal out of nothing. We can be assured that nurse was hauled over the coals for letting a prank call through innocently. I don`t believe any other action was taken against her but it sounds like she endured ridicule by those she worked with. Some nurses can be uncaring and heartless too.I have worked with that kind on quite a few occassions and you have to fight back and not be silent. I am loathe to say that she may have faced some racism there.
Scarlett. I see what you mean... Christopher`s comment is unbelievable... last thursday I bought a brand new Lancia Straton since getting a check for $4642 this past month and just a little over $10 thousand this past month. this is actually the coolest job Ive ever had. I began this 4 months ago and pretty much straight away was making minimum $69, per-hr. I use the details here, http://www.bit90.com
